?” - I get that question a lot when I tell people what I do for a living. I get it – ’digital’ is a vague term. It draws a blank in many people’s minds. It seems to imply a disconnect between people and what lies beyond their screens. Yet this is precisely at the core of what digital designers work with: bridging that gap between people and the digital world by making screen-based tools and interfaces a more integrated, delightful experience. But because the term "digital design" is also understood differently across the industry, it's worth sharing some thoughts on how we practice it at EGGS.
