What is EGGS' culture?

Putting people first

Our culture is what makes us EGGS. We put people first and always strive to have a healthy, creative and inclusive work environment. We give each other the freedom, space, and responsibility to develop our skills, passions, and creativity. We take our clients’ needs, projects, and businesses very seriously. But we don't take ourselves that seriously – we cherish a compassionate, trusting, and open culture.

Delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to our clients is essential to us. We set the bar high and expect a lot from people. But this can't be done without a healthy and positive work culture where people can thrive, be themselves, and do their best work. People come first!

When asked to describe the EGGS culture with one word this is what our colleagues said.

Transparency and openness

We believe that transparency and openness are essential to building a healthy company culture. We want everyone to feel free to open up and dare to share our work, opinions, hopes, and fears. That’s how we grow and learn as people, as a team, and as an organisation. As an employer, we follow the principle of sharing as much information as possible with everyone in the organisation.

Trust and self-leadership

As much as we believe in openness, we also believe in trust, for one can't exist without the other. We need to trust each other and each other's competence, integrity, and skills for us all to thrive and do a good job. We also believe in people's ability to lead themselves, which is why we don't care much for strong hierarchies. Leaders have the formal responsibility to support and guide. Still, we all have the responsibility and the freedom to lead ourselves.

Kindness and compassion

In EGGS, we’re not afraid of giving negative feedback or talking about problems. However, do it with kindness. We treat each other with respect, comprehension, and compassion. If we need to give feedback, we do it constructively and to help somebody, or something, improve. We always aim to move up and go further, but without ever pushing anyone down. And, most importantly, we remind each other that it’s human to fail. In fact, we value the learnings we get from it. Without brave experimentation, there is no innovation.
