Senior Digital Designer

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced digital designer who loves getting your hands dirty with UX and UI work and guiding clients and design teams through complex design challenges. You are confident with user-oriented design processes and converting complexity into desirable digital products and services. You love to have a key role in shaping our clients' future through our cross-disciplinary approach to design-driven innovation.

• Have expert knowledge of classic UX and user-centric design methods

• Have either educational or relevant work experience to take on complex projects for professional users

• Have the experience and confidence to articulate your work both toward customers and developers and know how to involve key stakeholders in the design process

• Are keeping a firm hand on the overall UX concept throughout the different stages of the design process

• Possess high-level problem-solving skills as well as the ability to deal with more concrete, detailed-oriented UX and UI tasks, delivering high-quality work

• Are a great team player with excellent self-management skills

• Have an empathetic mindset toward colleagues and clients

• Have at least five years of work experience as a digital designer

• Have proficiency in Norwegian and English

• It’s a plus if you have experience with maritime industries

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Digital Designer in EGGS Stavanger, you can expect to:

• Be part of both small and big design teams, working on various digital or cross-disciplinary projects

• Take an active role in problem definition in complex projects for professional users

• Work on projects where the design craft is an essential part of the final product

• Work on projects both within EGGS teams and located at the client’s premises

• Take the lead on or participate in UX and UI design for software and applications, both desktop and mobile

• Participate in different stages of the design process, depending on project needs

• Lead work streams in client-facing situations

• Collaborate with clients and facilitate workshops and design processes

• Work with important local and international clients
